Enrichment ClassesEnrichment courses are provided as supplimental courses to the Suzuki curriculum and a fee is associated with each class. Students, siblings, and parents are welcome to register for any of these courses. Most Suzuki students have time in their schedules for 1 or 2 enrichment classes. Improvisation: This can be one of the most satisfying, rewarding and exciting ways to make music because it comes from YOU! Join us in a class that will help each musician unlock their hidden abilities on the instrument as well as gain the confidence to enjoy what they compose. Open to book 4 and up. Teacher: Beth Youngblood
Orchestra 1: Students in Suzuki book 2 through 4 and have a solid knowledge of note and rhythm reading skills will enjoy this creative orchestra experience. Teacher:
Parenting - The Ultimate Art Form(Parents Only): In this course parents will explore how to make daily practice with their children supportive of the relationship desired in 30 years. Physical, emotional, and spiritual balance will be explored and practiced. For this course parents will need their visions, dreams, humor, and honesty. The next generation of Suzuki children is at the forefront of human development. Music is at the heart of their understanding and has been long before they learned to communicate through language. Parents are asked to welcome and enjoy each child’s miraculous gifts, the inspiration for: “Parenting, The Ultimate Art Form!” Teacher: Martha Shackford
